LINDA L. CHEZEM serves of counsel at Foley Peden & Wisco, P.A. She served on three Indiana courts, Lawrence County Court, Lawrence Circuit Court, and the Indiana Court of Appeals. After 22 years, Ms. Chezem resigned from the Indiana Court of Appeals to become the department head and a professor of 4-H Youth Development in the College of Agriculture, Purdue University. Ms. Chezem served as a special assistant to the director of the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism and now holds an appointment as a professor emerita of Youth Development and Agricultural Education, Purdue University and an adjunct professor appointment at the Indiana University School of Medicine Alcohol Research Center. She is a past chair of the Morgan County, Indiana Board of Health and co-author of the first Public Health Law Bench Book in the United States. Ms. Chezem earned her B.S. degree from Indiana State University and J.D. degree from Indiana University School of Law.
JESSICA A. FYRE is with AgCountry Farm Credit Services, a farmer-owned farm credit association that provides credit and financial services to farmers and ranchers in North Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Ms. Fyre currently serves as SVP-general counsel where she is the principal legal advisor to the Board of Directors, chief executive officer and executive leadership team. Prior to joining AgCountry, she was with the law firm of Gray Plant Mooty in Minneapolis, practicing in the areas of creditors’ rights, bankruptcy, secured transactions, and agricultural law. Ms. Fyre earned her B.S. degree, summa cum laude, from North Dakota State University; and her J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. She is admitted to practice in North Dakota and Minnesota, and is a member of the State Bar Association of North Dakota, Minnesota State Bar Association, and Cass County Bar Association.
PETER KEMP is the assistant general counsel for AgCountry Farm Credit Services, a farmer-owned farm credit association that provides credit and financial services to farmers and ranchers in North Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Prior to joining AgCountry, he was in private practice in Fargo, North Dakota, and with Johnson, Killen & Seiler in Duluth, Minnesota. Mr. Kemp earned his B.S. degree, summa cum laude, from Northwestern College and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Minnesota. He is admitted to practice in North Dakota and Minnesota, and is a member of the State Bar Association of North Dakota, Minnesota State Bar Association and Cass County Bar Association.
