ANDREA D. EDWARDS is the owner of the Law Office of Andrea D. Edwards, PLLC. Since 1985, she has practiced in the areas of family law, juvenile law, adoption, and wills. Ms. Edwards is a certified family financial case mediator, a certified superior court mediator, and a certified arbitrator. She is a member of the North Carolina, Judicial District 22A, and Iredell County (past president) bar associations. Ms. Edwards is a member of the Iredell County Family Law Committee (former chair) and was recently appointed to the Wake Forest University Board of Visitors. She earned her B.S. degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and her J.D. degree from Wake Forest University School of Law.
WANETA E. ELLIS is an attorney at Cape Fear Family Law focusing her practice on family law and immigration. Ms. Ellis began her career in the legal field by volunteering as a guardian ad litem in Wilmington for children who needed an advocate in the courtroom. She served abused, abandoned and neglected children by advocating for their best interests inside and outside of the courtroom. Ms. Ellis focuses a large part of her practice on the protections of immigrant children and volunteers twice a month with the local Latino community offering a free legal clinic to those in need. LEIGH B. SELLERS is the founding attorney of Touchstone Family Law, with offices located in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Fort Mill, South Carolina. AMY E. SIMPSON is a partner with Hamilton Stephens Steele & Martin, PLLC, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Ms. Simpson represents individuals in family law matters. She has tried complex child custody, alimony, and equitable distribution cases. MARGARET H. STACY is an attorney with Daly Family Law focusing her practice on family law. Ms. Stacy is a member of the North Carolina State Bar Association. DIANE M. WILLIS, CFP, CDFA, created Wilshire Divorce after 20+ years of assisting clients with their financial concerns in matters such as trust and probate issues, as well as wealth management. She added to her education by becoming a certified divorce financial analyst in 2003 and she joined forces with the collaborative divorce professionals in 2004. Ms. Willis helps her clients make such crucial decisions as to whether to keep the marital home, and if not, how much home they could afford on their own. She puts a pencil to the value of retirement plans, calculates tax consequences of providing or receiving alimony, and helps put together reasonable budgets going forward. Ms. Willis is also past president of the Financial Planning Association of Charlotte and a member of the North Carolina Association of Professional Family Mediators. She has also completed her training in family and divorce mediation.
