NHMCLE does not approve or accredit CLE activities for the NH Minimum CLE requirement. NBI, Inc. believes this course meets the requirements of NH Supreme Court Rule 53 toward the annual NHMCLE requirement.
NBI, Inc. is licensed by the New Hampshire Department of Education Office of Career School Licensing. There are no enrollment prerequisites or admissions requirements for this course, and there is no exam or grading system. Satisfactory progress is based solely on attendance at the course. Credits may not be transferred. All refunds shall be paid within 30 days upon written notification from a student of cancellation or withdrawal. Students receiving benefits from federal programs shall be subject to federal refund policies, rules and regulation. Student complaints should be directed to our office at (800) 930-6182. Upon exhausting all avenues with NBI, Inc. for resolution, students may file a complaint with the Office of Career School Licensing at (603) 271-6443.
SHARON L. ANNIS is an attorney and partner with Buehler & Annis PLC. Ms. Annis is a Phi Beta Kappa, cum laude, graduate of the University of Vermont, followed by graduating cum laude from Western New England College School of Law with two merit awards as a top scholar. Her practice at Buehler & Annis, PLC, focuses primarily on family law, including divorce, parentage, relief from abuse, child custody, child support and qualified domestic relations orders. Ms. Annis also handles civil litigation matters, residential real estate transactions and appellate work. She is a member of the Vermont Bar Association, the Windham County Family Bar and the Vermont Association for Justice.
AMBER L. BARBER is a partner at Barber & Waxman. She concentrates her practice in matrimonial and family law, divorce and civil union dissolution, asset valuation, negotiation of custody and financial settlement agreements, child support, and qualified domestic relations orders. Ms. Barber provides comprehensive advice about the fairness and equity of proposed settlement agreements and has considerable litigation experience. Her goal is to help her clients obtain a resolution which is in the children's best interests, and to secure a fair and equitable resolution with regard to their financial situation. Ms. Barber currently serves as a board member of the Vermont Bar Foundation. She also is past-president and a member of the Board of Managers for the Vermont Board Association. Prior to that, Ms. Barber served as a member and past-president on the Board of Managers Young Lawyers Division. Ms. Barber is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a diplomate of the American College of Family Trial Lawyers. She is a frequent lecturer on all aspects of family law, including complex litigation. Ms. Barber also serves as a guardian ad litem for family court cases and teaches pro se education classes for the family court. Ms. Barber earned her B.A. degree, cum laude, from St. Lawrence University and her J.D. degree from Albany Law School of Union University.
JENNIFER L. WAGNER is a shareholder with Marsh & Wagner, P.C., where she works primarily in the areas of family, juvenile, adoptions, wills, probate, criminal, landlord/tenant, civil litigation, personal injury, administrative hearings and appeals, and Social Security disability and SSI. Ms. Wagner is a member of the Vermont Bar Association and has served on the board of the Vermont Bar Foundation as secretary, and as a chair of the Grant and Publicity committees. She received her B.A. degree from Northeastern University and her J.D. degree from Vermont Law School.
LISA M. WERNER is a partner in the law firm of Clark, Werner & Flynn, P.C. Ms. Werner received her B.A. degree, cum laude, from Franklin & Marshall College in 1988. She graduated cum laude from Vermont Law School in 1993, receiving her J.D. degree, as well as her M.S.L. (Masters of Studies of Law) degree in environmental law. After law school, Ms. Werner was hired by Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company. There, she investigated, managed and resolved Vermont personal injury claims resulting from all forms of negligence, including motor vehicle accident, premises liability, accidents involving children, and animal bites, to name a few. Ms. Werner practices general civil litigation, particularly in the areas of family law, personal injury and insurance defense, and employment law. Her special interests include lawsuits against schools, municipalities and the state of Vermont; whistleblower cases; and civil rights violations. Ms. Werner is a member of the Chittenden County Bar Association and the Vermont Bar Association.
