WARREN E. BENNING is a senior associate attorney in the Edwardsville, Illinois office of Stange Law Firm, P.C. Mr. Benning has been practicing law in Illinois for almost 30 years. He focuses his practice on family law, assisting clients with legal matters such as divorce, child custody, child support, collaborative law, fathers’ rights, juvenile matters, guardianship, and mediation. Mr. Benning graduated with his B.A. degree from Central Missouri State University and his M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix. He earned his J.D. degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law in Carbondale, Illinois.
DANIEL J. GRUENINGER is a sole practitioner in Belleville, where he handles exclusively family and juvenile law cases; as well as appeals of divorce, custody, child support, alimony (maintenance), paternity, adoption and guardianship. Mr. Grueninger is a former criminal prosecutor for the State's Attorney offices in St. Clair, Williamson and Peoria counties in Illinois. From 1988 through 1995, he served as an attorney in the Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps on active duty in the U.S. Army. In 1996, Mr. Grueninger opened his own law office. He earned his B.S. degree from Southern Illinois University and his J.D. degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law at Carbondale, Illinois. Mr. Grueninger is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association (member, Family Law Section), and he served on the Committee for Military Affairs from 2001 to 2006. He has been a member of the St. Clair County Bar Association since 1996 and has been listed in Who's Who in American Law since 1997. Mr. Grueninger has served as guardian ad litem in numerous custody, adoption, and guardianship cases.
TODD C. MILLER is a partner at Ogar & Miller, in Bloomington, Illinois. Mr. Miller is an experienced and respected attorney who has practiced law in the state of Illinois for more than 25 years. His practice has focused on family law, and in particular, child support issues. Mr. Miller has spoken extensively to bar, governmental and community groups on issues related to child support enforcement. He is known for his strong negotiating skills, however, he also has extensive courtroom experience in a number of Central Illinois counties. Mr. Miller graduated with his B.A. degree from DePauw University and he earned his J.D. degree from John Marshall Law School. He is a past member of the Illinois State Bar Association’s Law Related Education for the Public Standing Committee and is also actively involved in the McLean County Bar Association serving on the Family Law Committee, the Continuing Legal Education Committee, the Underwood Committee and co-chairing the Bench and Bar Committee. Mr. Miller is currently the president of the Board of Directors of Recovery Starts Today (the McLean County Drug Court Board) and, until recently served as co-chairman of the Eleventh Judicial Pro Bono Committee. He is also an adjunct professor of family law at Illinois State University.
CHAD MURRAY is a sole practitioner whose office is located in Decatur, Illinois. Mr. Murray practices in the areas of divorce and family law, criminal law, bankruptcy, estate planning and probate, and civil litigation; and he is licensed to practice in the states of Illinois and New York. While he practices full time in Decatur, Illinois, Mr. Murray also maintains a satellite office in North Tonawanda, New York. He graduated with his B.A. degree from Syracuse University and he earned his J.D. degree from the University at Buffalo Law School. Mr. Murray is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Decatur Bar Association.
BETSY WIRTH is a senior associate attorney and team leader at Stange Law Firm, P.C. She is licensed to practice in Illinois and is based out of the firm's Springfield, Illinois office. Ms. Wirth represents clients in all family law matters, including, divorce, child custody, child support, visitation, adoption, and other domestic relation matters. She earned her B.S. degree from Indiana State University and her J.D. degree from Northern Illinois University College of Law. Prior to working at Stange Law Firm, P.C., Ms. Wirth practiced law for five years in the Chicago area. There, she served as president of the Junior Board of Directors for Family Shelter Service, a domestic violence shelter and counseling center. Ms. Wirth also volunteered for Center on Halsted, a LGBT community center in Chicago, where she sat on a Q&A panel for LGBT adoption as a part of her duties. She also is Lead Counsel Rated for divorce and family law in 2015.
