KEITH A. BERGMAN, P.E., works for Bergman Engineering, LLC. He obtained his B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from San Diego State University and is a licensed professional engineer and currently holds professional licenses in 13 states. Mr. Bergman was appointed to serve on the Lower Salford Township Board of Supervisors, an elected post he holds today. He is an active professional member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Society of Highway Engineers, the Engineers Club of Philadelphia, and the Institute of Transportation Engineers. Through his ITE membership, he serves on the ITE Expert Witness Council. Mr. Bergman is also a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers, the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers, and is a past member of the American Road and Transportation Builders Association.
DR. PETER BLUMENTHAL is an occupational physician with training in pharmaco-logy and toxicology and clinical experience in trauma, working at IMX Medical Management Services, Inc. Dr. Blumenthal learned to understand illnesses caused by toxic exposure during fellowship training in clinical pharmacology and toxicology. He learned injury management during 12,000 hours as an emergency physician. Therefore, Dr. Blumenthal is versed in both prevention and care of work related injuries and illnesses. Since 1993, he has conducted over 35,000 independent medical exams, including long-term disability assessments. Dr. Blumenthal is a diplomate of the American Board of Preventive Medicine in Occupational Medicine, as well as a diplomate of the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners (CIME). He is a certified medical review officer (MRO). Dr. Blumenthal earned his M.D. degree and Dr. med. degree in Bonn, Germany; trained in clinical pharmacology at Tulane; in clinical pharmaco-kinetics at the State University of New York at Buffalo; and earned his M.P.H. (Master of Public Health) degree at Rutgers. He has maintained an academic affiliation as clinical assistant professor of medicine at the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Blumenthal has served locally as president of the Essex County Medical Society in 2003-2004, where he still chairs the Medical - Legal Liaison Committee, regionally as treasurer of the Medical Society of New Jersey, and nationally as speaker of the house of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine in 2004-2005.
JOHN M. CINTI is an attorney with the law firm of Reger Rizzo & Darnall LLP, where his main areas of practice are civil litigation, personal injury, insurance coverage, and professional liability. He was designated a certified civil trial attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court in 2004. Mr. Cinti is a past member of the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Defense Association; and previously served as chairman of the Automobile Law Subcommittee for that organization. He continues to serve as an arbitrator in the superior courts of Mercer and Burlington counties. Mr. Cinti is a member of the New Jersey State, New York State and Pennsylvania bar associations. He is admitted to practice before the New Jersey Federal District Court, 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals, and the New York Eastern and Southern Federal District courts. Mr. Cinti earned his B.S. degree from the University of Scranton and his J.D. degree from Rutgers University School of Law-Newark.
KIMBERLY A. HOEHING is a trial lawyer with The Law Offices of Adam M. Kotlar, LLC, in Cherry Hill. After spending 10 years doing defense work, including more than 8 years with one of the largest insurance companies in New Jersey, Ms. Hoehing now devotes her practice to personal injury and has successfully tried over 100 jury trials. She is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a civil trial attorney, a distinction held by less than 2.5% of the lawyers in the state of New Jersey. In her work as a defense attorney, Ms. Hoehing has worked with bio-mechanical experts. She has also researched the subject matter of Daubert v. Frye as a presenter for National Business Institute. Ms. Hoehing received her B.B.A. degree at Temple University, Fox School of Business, graduating in the top 5% of her class; and her J.D. degree from Widener University School of Law in Delaware. She is a member of the Camden County and Burlington County Bar Associations, as well as a member of New Jersey Association for Justice (NJAJ), and the American Association for Justice (AAJ).
J. WRIGHT LEONARD, CDE, BOARD CERTIFIED FORENSIC DOCUMENT EXAMINER, was certified by the National Association of Document Examiners in 1994 and recertified in 2005, 2010, 2014 and 2018. She has testified in civil and criminal matters in federal, state and local courts in over 245 trials/hearings in matters related to questioned documents. Ms. Leonard's experience includes retention by state and federal governments, as well as the legal community and corporations. She consulted or testified regarding election petition and registration matters in all Presidential and general elections between 2004 and 2018. Her office location base is Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and her clients include the United States Patent and Trademark Office; the National Board of Medical Examiners; U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; The Associated Press; Amtrak; The Pennsylvania Department of State; General Dynamics; BMW of North America; The Hartford Insurance Company; and The Philadelphia Inquirer. Ms. Leonard testified as a joint expert for the U.S. Attorney's Office and the federal defender in Philadelphia, and have been retained by various district attorney, prosecutor, and defender offices. She completed five years of semi-annual proficiency testing in handwriting identification by the Forensic Profiling Laboratory of Latrobe University in Melbourne, Australia. Ms. Leonard also completed the Image Analysis Program at the Rochester Institute of Technology, as well as Microscopy for Document Examiners at the Hooke College of Microscopy in Chicago. A typical year includes 40-50 hours of continuing education in document examination and handwriting identification. She currently serves as secretary and board member of the Association of Forensic Document Examiners; and trustee, as well as secretary and board member of the National Association of Document Examiners. Ms. Leonard served as an Editorial Board member of the Forensic Journal of the National Association of Document Examiners, 1999-2004. She is a voting member of ASTM International; a member of the International Association for Identification, New York; and a member of the Certified Fraud Examiners, Philadelphia. Ms. Leonard is a past member of the Evidence Photographers International Council (EPIC). She provides services including handwriting and handprinting identification with photographic documentation; examination of documents for alterations; indented writing; and non-destructive ink and paper differentiation using state-of-the-art equipment such as the Foster and Freeman Video Spectra Comparator.
MICHAEL M. NELSON is the founder of DFDR Consulting LLC, and has consulted on and examined data for numerous personal, corporate, criminal, civil, and domestic cases. He has testified as a computer forensics expert on multiple occasions, has been deposed, and has submitted affidavits in multiple states. Mr. Nelson was acknowledged in EnCE The Official EnCase Certified Examiner Study Guide (second and third editions) and Mastering Windows Network Forensics and Investigation (second edition). He has also been published in eForensics Magazine for SQL investigation techniques. In addition to authoring, Mr. Nelson has also presented at the Legal Intelligencer's Litigation Summit on eDiscovery practice tips, as well as on forensics and eDiscovery tips for Prime Global and Wolters Kluwer CCH. Furthermore, he has spoken on obtaining life data, Macintosh forensics, and building a flexible eDiscovery process for Appalachian Institute of Digital Evidence; and served as a panel expert on cybersecurity and compliance for the East Coast Gaming Congress & iGaming Institute. Recently, Mr. Nelson was also a featured speaker at McKonly & Asbury 2015 Trends Symposium. He is a member of the International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners (ISFCE), High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA), Infragard (the Federal Bureau of Investigation's collaborative infrastructure protection society), International Association of Computer Investigation Specialists (IACIS), and the Philadelphia area chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Recently, Mr. Nelson was named first vice president of the Delaware Valley Chapter of HTCIA and served as president in 2016. His industry credentials include: AccessData certified examiner (ACE), AccessData mobile examiner (AME), certified computer examiner (CCE), certified ethical hacker v8 (CEHv8), certified level 2 P2 commander advanced analysis examiner, certified data recovery professional (CDRP), EnCase certified examiner (EnCE), AccessData summation certified administrator (SCA), AccessData summation certified enduser (SCE), and Security+ . Additionally, Mr. Nelson is an Apple certified associate for Mac integration 10.7; and holds a B.S. degree, cum laude, in computer science with a specialization in network security and computer forensics from the University of Delaware. He was named as one of the 40 Under 40 by SNJ Business People for 2014 and a Trendsetter in Technology for 2015-2017.
