JEREMY M. DILTS is a partner with Carson LLP. His practice has focused on medical malpractice defense work for more than 15 years, as well as litigation claims involving government entities, personal injuries, civil rights, insurance coverage, workers’ compensation and general liability. Mr. Dilts is a member of the Indiana State, Monroe County and American bar associations; and the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana. He received his B.A. degree from Indiana University and earned his J.D. degree from Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
ASHLEY N. HADLER is an attorney with Cohen & Malad, LLP. Ms. Hadler is a personal injury attorney and focuses her practice on helping victims of nursing home abuse, medical malpractice, sexual abuse, and wrongful death. She recently returned to practice law in Indianapolis after representing victims of nursing home negligence and other personal injury matters in Illinois and northern Indiana for a number of years. Ms. Hadler has an extensive background in science including biology, chemistry, and physics. She was a member of the Health Law Society and earned a certificate in health law, which allowed her to concentrate on topics including medical malpractice, insurance law, and elder law. This knowledge provides her a deeper understanding of many of the issues faced by people who are injured in nursing homes or at the hands of a healthcare professional. Ms. Hadler is a part of Cohen & Malad, LLP’s sexual abuse and assault litigation team. She represents victims of sexual abuse ranging in age from children to the elderly. She has been recognized as an Illinois and Indiana Super Lawyers Rising Star each year since 2015, and was recognized as an Illinois Super Lawyers Emerging Lawyer. Ms. Hadler is a member of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice. Ms. Hadler received her B.A. degree from DePauw University and earned her J.D. degree (concentration in health law) from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
SHARON HAMPTON, CQDE, is in private practice, and owner/operator of Document Examiner USA. Ms. Hampton previously examined documents at USA Funds in Fishers, Indiana. Her experience includes examining end-of-life legal documents, deeds, contracts, loans, agreements, etc., for alterations, insertions, obliterations, simulated signatures and notaries to find the truth of the document, including identifying anonymous and suspect/subject writers. Ms. Hampton is a past member of NADE, and past ethics chair of SAFE, and IADE, with peer reviewed articles for annual journals. She trained by apprenticeship with a two-year course from School of Forensic Document Examination, Dallas, Texas; earned her A.A. degree in liberal arts from Vincennes University; earned a real estate certificate and license thorough the Southern Maine University course; and took a Shakespearean study course from Oxford University, Oxford, England.
CHRISTOPHER E. KOZAK is an attorney with Plews Shadley Racher & Braun LLP. Mr. Kozak focuses his practice in general civil litigation, with an emphasis in legal interaction, insurance coverage federal jurisdiction and procedure, federal civil rights actions and federal appeals. Mr. Kozak earned his B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from Ball State University and his J.D. degree, summa cum laude, from Michigan State I University College of Law.
JOSEPH KRESOVSKY is a senior mechanical engineer at Denson Engineers, Inc, where his assignments include motor vehicle crash reconstruction, mechanical equipment failures, personal injury investigations, and product and premises liability cases. He also previously worked for Ford Motor Company as a product development engineer, where he developed and conducted vehicle/engine testing and calibrated powertrain systems to ensure compliance with EPA emissions regulations, Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) targets, and drivability requirements. Mr. Kresovsky served as a resident powertrain expert at an assembly plant; conducted accident reconstruction analysis and reporting; and managed teams of engineers, suppliers, and UAW personnel to implement design and process improvements and to resolve manufacturing/design issues. He is a member of American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Kentucky Society of Professional Engineers, National Academy of Forensic Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers, and Society of Automotive Engineers. Mr. Kresovsky received his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University. He also received a degree in traffic crash reconstruction from Northwestern University.
PETER M. RACHER is a partner of the Indianapolis law firm of Plews Shadley Racher & Braun LLP, where he has more than two decades of practice representing plaintiffs and defendants in highly complex litigation matters. Mr. Racher enjoys working on cases where law, science and public policy intersect. He is admitted to practice in Indiana, and before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a fellow of the Indiana State Bar Association and the Indianapolis Bar Association. Mr. Racher earned his B.A. degree from Oberlin College and his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Indiana University in Bloomington. He has been listed as an Indiana Super Lawyer every year since 2004.
CARI L. SHEEHAN is of counsel in Barnes & Thornburg LLP's Indianapolis office and is a member of the litigation department. Ms. Sheehan serves as professional responsibility counsel to the firm and focuses on various legal ethics and professional responsibility matters. Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg LLP, Ms. Sheehan worked on a wide variety of litigation matters, including Title IX litigation, employment discrimination, bullying and school litigation, complex torts, civil rights litigation, police misconduct, medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death claims and criminal issues. She has represented clients in state and federal courts in Indiana and Illinois. Ms. Sheehan is admitted to practice in Indiana and Illinois. DELMAR WELDON is a partner with Pillar Law Group, LLP. Mr. Weldon is a trial lawyer focusing on criminal defense and plaintiff’s personal injury. He is a trial advocacy coach with Northern Kentucky University and an adjunct professor in criminal justice with Ivy Tech College. Mr. Weldon has trained law students in trial law and litigation, as well as developed trial skills, mastery of evidence and procedure and persuasion. He taught jury skills and development of story, theme and strategy. Mr. Weldon received his B.S. degree from Indiana University and his J.D. degree from Northern Kentucky University - Salmon P.
