E. CLARKE DUMMIT is the founder of Dummit Fradin, Attorneys at Law, in Winston Salem, where he concentrates his practice in the areas of criminal law with a focus on driving while impaired and drug cases. His firm also litigates personal injury, medical malpractice, and workers' compensation. The firm regularly affiliates with other firms to litigate cases in both criminal and civil trials. Mr. Dummit is the author of The North Carolina DWI Manual and is the founder of the North Carolina DWI Round Table. He is a frequent lecturer on various issues relating to criminal law, including driving while impaired. Mr. Dummit is admitted to practice in North Carolina and Georgia, as well as before federal courts. He has been a member of the Forsyth County and North Carolina bar associations, Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Mr. Dummit earned his B.A. degree from Vanderbilt University and his J.D. degree from Wake Forest University.
ANDREA D. EDWARDS is the owner of the Law Office of Andrea D. Edwards, PLLC. Since 1985, she has practiced in the areas of family law, juvenile law, adoption, and wills. Ms. Edwards is a certified family financial case mediator, a certified superior court mediator, and a certified arbitrator. She is a member of the North Carolina, Judicial District 22A, and Iredell County (past president) bar associations. Ms. Edwards is a member of the Iredell County Family Law Committee (former chair) and was recently appointed to the Wake Forest University Board of Visitors. She earned her B.S. degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and her J.D. degree from Wake Forest University School of Law.
RANDOLPH M. JAMES is principal of Randolph M. James, P.C., where he practices in the areas of personal injury, business litigation, construction law, and professional malpractice. He earned his B.A. degree, with honors, from North Carolina State University and his J.D. degree from Wake Forest University School of Law. Mr. James has spoken previously on various trial issues. He is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, North Carolina State Bar (past member, Committee on Personal Injury Trial Law Specialization), and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. Mr. James is also an AOPA Panel attorney.
BRANDON SPLEEN is an attorney with Hutchens Law Firm, where he practices in the areas of creditors' rights, real estate, cybersecurity and privacy law. Mr. Spleen has experience in property law, including easements, state and federal liens, foreclosures, evictions, mobile home liens, mortgages, and property ownership. He also has experience in the areas of corporate litigation, cybersecurity breaches and privacy issues. He is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, South Carolina State Bar, The West Virginia Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Mr. Spleen received his J.D. degree from Duquesne University School of Law and his undergraduate degrees in political science and economics from Duquesne University. While in law school, he was a member of the Corporate Law Society, the Energy & Mineral Law Society, and the International Law Society.
