JOSEPH W. SCALIA is a sole practitioner and has been practicing law since 1976. He currently maintains his office in Roseville, California, where he focuses in the areas of business law, construction law, employment law, sports and entertainment law, as well as real estate litigation. Mr. Scalia has been a licensed real estate broker in the state of California since 1982. He serves as a settlement judge pro tem for the Sacramento Superior Court and as an arbitrator with the Sacramento County Judicial Arbitration Association. Mr. Scalia has also served as a member on the panel of arbitrators for the American Arbitration Association and as a mediator in alternative dispute resolutions for El Dorado County Superior Court. He earned his B.A. degree, with honors, from the University of Notre Dame; and his J.D. degree, with honors, from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review. He recently co-wrote a new CEB publication entitled Neighbor Disputes-Law and Litigation, and recently published a children’s book entitled The Adventures of Amelia Loggerhead. Mr. Scalia is a member of the Sacramento County Bar Association and the State Bar of California.
