SUSAN BRATCHER is an attorney with Bratcher Legacy Estate Planning, LLC, where she practices in the areas of estate planning and bankruptcy. She earned her undergraduate degree from Rockhurst University and her J.D. degree from Southern Methodist University, Dedmon Law School. Ms. Bratcher also attended Oxford University, University College, Oxford, England for a summer program for law school. She is licensed to practice law in Kansas, Missouri, the District of Kansas in Federal Court and the Western District of Missouri in Federal Court.

LARA McINERNEY is an attorney with Lee & McInerney, LLC, where she focuses her practices in the areas of elder law, estate planning and family law. During Ms. McInerney’s legal career she has developed a varied range of expertise, including trademark prosecution, intellectual property litigation, and business and banking litigation. Ms. McInerney is also a trained mediator and a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She earned her J.D. degree from UMKC Law School.

LARRY R. MEARS is an attorney with Mears Hausmann PC, where he focuses his practice in the areas of trusts and estates, civil trial and appellate practice, commercial, corporate, real estate and school law. He is a member of the Atchison Bar Association, Kansas Bar Association, The Missouri Bar, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Council of School Attorneys. Mr. Mears earned his A.B. degree from Washburn University of Topeka and his J.D. degree from Washburn University School of Law.

K. KIRK NYSTROM is the principal of Nystrom Law Office, in Topeka, Kansas, with extensive experience in the areas of senior law, estate planning, real estate and probate law. He marketed real estate and held a Kansas real estate broker's license before he began practicing law. Mr. Nystrom taught real estate fundamentals at Washburn University, and he often lectures for various professional groups. He is a member of the Probate Committee of the Topeka Bar Association. Mr. Nystrom earned his B.B.A. degree from Washburn University, his J.D. degree from Washburn University School of Law, and his LL.M. degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.

AUNNA L. PEOPLES is admitted to practice in Missouri, Kansas, Texas, U.S. District Courts in Kansas and the Western District of Missouri and the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Peoples worked previously as an assistant district attorney for Dallas County, Texas and as an assistant city prosecutor for the fity of Kansas City, Missouri. She is a past chairperson for the Solo/Small Firm Committee of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association and a former board member for the Association of Women Lawyers. Ms. Peoples is a general practitioner whose practice is focused primarily on consumer and small business bankruptcies as well as probate law. She earned her J.D. degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.

JAMIE WEESE is the founding attorney of Weese Law Firm, located in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law with an emphasis in tax law. While a law student she clerked at firms where she assisted with a wide variety of legal issues, including estate planning, small business creation, bankruptcy, general litigation and foreclosures. It quickly became evident that estate planning and small business creation were her passions. Ms. Weese is admitted to practice in Missouri and Kansas, and is also a member of the The Missouri Bar and Kansas Bar Association.
