This course or a portion thereof has been approved by the Louisiana Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Committee of the Louisiana State Bar Association. This program may qualify for up to 2.0 hours (based on a 60-minute credit hour) of self-study credit, of which 0.0 hour will apply to self-study ethics credit. No more than 4.0 hours of self-study CLE credit may be earned during a reporting period. This program is approved for 2.0 hours (based on a 60-minute credit hour) of credit by the Louisiana Specialization Board in the area of estate planning & administration.

Prior to founding Christie Tournet & Associates, she assisted with forming and managing several multi-million dollar residential and commercial real estate developments. Ms. Tournet has an active Louisiana real estate salesperson license and became a Louisiana notary public before obtaining her law degree. She is a member of the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Realtors (NOMAR), Northshore Estate Planning Council, Louisiana Notary Association, the 22nd Judicial Circuit Bar and the 22nd Judicial District Circuit Inn of Court. Ms. Tournet earned her B.S. degree, summa cum laude, from Loyola University New Orleans and her J.D. degree from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law.
