MEEGAN B. COLCLOUGH is an attorney with Lyle Johnson LLC, where she practices in the areas of business law and estate/probate law with an emphasis in taxation matters. Ms. Colclough advises clients in the areas of corporate law and taxation, estate and business succession planning, probate law, trust law and tax controversy matters with the IRS, state and municipal agencies. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in commerce and business administration, summa cum laude, from The University of Alabama, her LL.M. degree in taxation, cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Law and also her J.D. degree, cum laude. Ms. Colclough was senior editor, The Journal of the Legal Profession; and Moot Court Board from the University of Alabama School of Law. She is a member of the Alabama State Bar, Mobile Bar Association (past treasurer), board member of the South Alabama Volunteer Lawyers Program and the Alabama Access to Justice Commission. P. DAVID MATHENY is a sole practitioner in Bay Minette, Alabama, who has been practicing law in Baldwin County for 20 years. His trial experience includes contested probate cases and complicated divorces, and his practice is focused on domestic, criminal and probate matters. Mr. Matheny served as the first county conservator for Baldwin County, Alabama, and was appointed by the probate court to manage the assets of those elderly or disabled persons who were not able to manage their own affairs. He serves as court representative or guardian ad litem in numerous probate court proceedings. Mr. Matheny also served as a part-time special assistant attorney general for the state of Alabama. He earned his B.S. degree from Mississippi State University and his J.D. degree from Mississippi College School of Law.
CARMELLA J. PENN is an attorney in Alabama with a general practice firm. However, Ms. Penn has spent the majority of her years of practice in criminal defense, with a stint as a prosecutor with the 3rd and 5th Judicial circuits of Alabama. Her past experiences also includes teaching criminal law and procedure and several courses in the humanities at Lawson State Community College in Birmingham, Alabama. Ms. Penn graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law, where she was a member of the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society and the Frederick Douglass Moot Court team.

In his position as CEO, he provided direction for strategic planning, complex project management, business initiatives and corporate citizenship. Mr. Seawell served the industry and community through his involvement in numerous technical associations, economic development groups and civic organizations. He earned his B.S. degree in civil engineering and his M.S. degree, also in civil engineering, from Auburn University. He began his professional career in the fields of civil, structural, geotechnical, environmental and materials engineering with Thompson Engineering Testing, Inc. In 1981, he was promoted to president/CEO of the local company; and served as chairman, CEO, and principal of the holding company from 1997 until his retirement from Thompson in late 2017. Mr. Seawell founded a new professional firm in early 2018, specializing in large scale project management solutions and expert witness evaluation and testimony in the construction, building systems, and material sciences arena. Through his new firm, Seawell Engineering Sciences, LLC, he continues to consult and assist Thompson and other firms on major capital projects.
