UZZELL S. BRANSON III is an attorney and principal at The Law Offices of Branson & Branson, LLP, where he focuses on business litigation, commercial litigation, bankruptcy litigation, commercial real estate, and real estate litigation. TARA R. BURD is the principal and founder of the T. Burd Law Group, APC. Ms. Burd concentrates her practice in the areas of litigation, breach of contract and estate planning. She is admitted to practice in the State Bar of California, United States District Court for the Southern District of California, United States District Court of Eastern District of California and United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. Ms. Burd is on the Executive Committee and member of the State Bar of California's Real Property Law Section, a member of San Diego County Bar Association (Litigation Section, Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law Section and the Real Property Law Section), is the vice president of the Irish-American Bar Association, a member of the Hon. Ms. Burd earned her B.S. degree, with a distinction, from San Diego State University; and her J.D. degree from California Western School of Law graduating, cum laude, on CWSL’s accelerated, two-year program.
FRANCISCO GARCIA JR. is an associate in the estates and trusts group at Henderson Caverly & Pum LLP, where he assists clients in estate planning, estate and trust administration, charitable planning, and a variety of tax related matters. Mr. Garcia earned his law degree from the University of Texas at Austin and his bachelor’s degree in economics, with a minor in political science, from Stanford University. He is a member of the State Bar of California, Trust and Estates Section; and the San Diego County Bar Association, Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Section. Prior to joining Henderson Caverly & Pum LLP, Mr. Garcia was an associate at a local law firm where he advised clients in estate planning matters, including the drafting of estate planning documents, and represented clients in a broad range of litigation matters, including contractual disputes, trust interpretation, and fraud claims.
RICHARD SCOTT STEWART is the founder of California Estate and Elder Law, LLP. He has concentrated his law practice on solving the legal problems affecting the California senior population. His practice is devoted to Medi-Cal benefit law, estate planning, asset protection and retention, and other elder law issues. Mr. Stewart has represented clients throughout California, assisting them with Medi-Cal eligibility planning and to reduce their burden of long-term care costs. He regularly conducts educational programs on elder law topics, such as Medi-Cal eligibility and long-term care issues. He has also been named both a Top Lawyer and Best Lawyer in the Elder Law field by Palm Springs Life Magazine. Avvo has rated him as a superb attorney with a perfect score of 10 out of 10 since 2010. He sat on the Board of Directors for the George G. Glenner Alzheimer Family Centers from 2006 through 2014.
