MICHAEL S. GOODE is special counsel with Lewis Thomason in the Nashville office where he helps businesses and families with their tax, businesses and estate planning needs. Mr. Goode also has a focus on international law, helping individuals and companies with both their international corporate and estate planning, including helping to resolve reporting requirements and advising on cross border taxation and business issues. He received his J.D. degree from William and Mary Law School and his LL.M. degree in taxation from New York University School of Law. Mr. Goode has been a chair of the Estate Planning and Probate Section of the Tennessee Bar, as well as chair of the Tax Section of the Tennessee Bar. He currently serves as vice-chair of the International Section of the Tennessee Bar.
