BRIANNA J. SCHROEDER is an attorney at Janzen Agricultural Law, LLC. She grew up on a family farm in Northeastern Indiana. Ms. Schroeder focuses her legal practice working for farmers and agribusinesses. She has litigated complex environmental and agricultural matters, including insurance coverage, regulatory compliance, tort claims, zoning appeals, and employment claims. Ms. Schroeder negotiates and drafts contracts for agricultural companies and farms, including farm leases, employment agreements, sales agreements, and privacy contracts. She is licensed in Indiana and Illinois and has represented a wide variety of clients from start-up companies and livestock farmers to large agricultural businesses, trade groups, and municipalities. Ms. Schroeder has authored numerous articles and given presentations on a variety of topics, including livestock operations, the Clean Water Act, Swampbuster, employment issues in agricultural businesses, fence law, drainage issues, land application leases, wetlands compliance, agri-tourism, food law, and insurance coverage. She earned her B.S. degree, cum laude, from Carthage College; her M.S. degree from Valparaiso University; and her J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Valparaiso University School of Law.
