DAVID S. ANGELUCCI is an associate director of business valuation services with Dean Dorton Allen Ford, PLLC. He has performed valuations in a variety of contexts, including estate, gift, and income tax planning and reporting; shareholder transactions; marital dissolutions; mergers and acquisitions; and financial reporting valuations for business combinations, goodwill, and intangible asset impairment testing, and stock compensation purposes. Mr. Angelucci has valued companies engaged in numerous industries, including the following: manufacturing, wholesale distribution, coal, oil & gas, healthcare, professional services, banking, equine, and holding companies primarily owning real estate, marketable securities, and closely-held stocks. He has experience in public speaking on fair value accounting topics for financial reporting purposes, understanding financial statements, business valuation concepts, and business competitive advantages. Mr. Angelucci is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Financial Consulting Group. He received his B.A. degree from Indiana University.
MATTHEW BARSZCZ is an attorney with Dinsmore & Shohl LLP, and a member of the labor and employment practice group, where his areas of practice include the Fair Labor Standards Act; Americans with Disabilities Act; Age Discrimination in Employment Act; and the Family and Medical Leave Act. He has experience representing clients from all sorts of industries before the National Labor Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the U.S. Department of Labor, and also litigating matters involving employment discrimination, non-competition agreements, and wage and hour claims. Mr. Barszcz is admitted to practice in Kentucky, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Kentucky and his J.D. degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law where he graduated as a member of the Order of the Coif.
JUSTIN S. GILFERT is general counsel for Aperture CVO, the national leader in end-to-end healthcare credentialing services. In 2017, the governor of Kentucky appointed him to a four year term as a board member in the area of healthcare. Mr. Gilfert has extensive experience in all segments of the healthcare marketplace, including Medicare (A, B, C and D), Medicare/ Medicaid dual eligible plans, traditional Medicaid, and MCOs. He is familiar with the ACA, ERISA, FEHBA, and HIPAA. He also has intimate knowledge in the fields of entity auditing, certification and accreditation, including benchmarks such as SOC 1 and 2 reports, and governing bodies such as NCQA and URAC. Mr. Gilfert earned his B.A. degree in government from Centre College, with studies at the British American School (Regents) in London, England; his J.D.M.A.P.S. (joint degree - with distinction) in law and political science from the University of Louisville’s Louis D. Brandeis School of Law and Graduate School of Political Science, respectively; and received his certification in business strategy from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. He was a member of the District of Columbia’s Corporation, Finance and Securities Law Section, and also served as sponsor to the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Gilfert is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia, Kentucky, North Carolina and West Virginia; and admitted to the United States Supreme Court; Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals; Western and Eastern Districts of Kentucky; Southern District of Indiana; Western, Middle and Eastern Districts of North Carolina; and Southern District of West Virginia. Prior to going in-house, he was a seasoned litigator and corporate attorney for Huddleston Bolen (now Dinsmore & Shohl - a top 100 firm).
BRANDON VOELKER is a partner with Gatlin Voelker, PLLC, where his practice areas are broad, from drafting a simple will to handling a multimillion dollar class action case. As a new attorney, Mr. Voelker gained valuable trial experience as an assistant Kenton county attorney, Fiscal Court. The experience and knowledge helped in developing a practice for both litigation and municipal law. After his experience as an assistant county attorney, Mr. Voelker was able to engage in private practice, where he began a legal career focused on helping individuals, including matters such as workers' compensation, bankruptcy, personal injury, family and other types of general litigation. He graduated with his B.A. degree from the University of Kentucky and earned his J.D. degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law. Mr. Voelker is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, the Northern Kentucky Bar Association, and the Kentucky Employer’s Mutual Insurance Company on the Board of Directors.
