KABARA KORTH PRASKAVICH is a partner in the law firm of Maddox & Gerock, P.C., in Falls Church, Virginia. She has experience working on all types of family law issues and leading clients through custody, support, property/debt division, divorce, modifications, and enforcement actions; and tailors her approach to each specific case. Ms. Praskavich especially enjoys working on cases involving business division and other complex assets, and takes pride in ensuring her clients understand the process and law. She received her B.A. degree from the University of Chicago and her J.D. degree from Georgetown University Law Center. Ms. Praskavich is a member of the Northern Virginia Chapter of the Virginia Women Attorneys Association, Fairfax Bar Association, and Virginia State Bar.
SCOTT M. WEINBAUM is a partner in the law firm of Maddox & Gerock, P.C., in Falls Church, Virginia. Mr. Weinbaum handles many types of cases within the field of family law, including physical and legal custodial arrangements, spousal support, child support, division of assets and debts, marital settlement agreements, no-fault and fault-based divorces, and post-divorce matters. He has a passion for cases involving the division of complicated assets. Mr. Weinbaum also has an interest in legal writing and has been published in Virginia Family Law Quarterly. He received his B.A. degree from the University of Maryland-College Park and his J.D. degree from George Mason University School of Law. Mr. Weinbaum is a founding member of the Arlington Bar Association's Young Lawyers Section where he served as a board member and as the liaison to the Fairfax Bar Association's Young Lawyers Section for three years. He is also a member of the Virginia State Bar, American Bar Association, Arlington Bar Association, and Fairfax Bar Association.
