RYAN C. BLAZURE is a partner with Thomas, Thomas & Hafer, LLP, where he practices in the areas of general liability, transportation, and workers' compensation. He is admitted to practice before the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Blazure received his undergraduate degree from Wilkes University and his J.D. degree from Syracuse University College of Law.
GERALD A. CONNOR is a partner and trial attorney in the Scranton, Pennsylvania office of Margolis Edelstein, a full service multi-state litigation provider to the insurance industry, major corporations, and governmental entities. He represents clients confronted with all types of casualty litigation, ranging from automobile and general liability claims to products liability, construction defects and workers' compensation. Mr. Connor's practice also includes the defense of, and consultation with, insurance carriers in bad faith, uninsured/underinsured motorist, first party benefits, and other coverage matters. He frequently lectures on a variety of topics related to his practice, including bad faith, automobile litigation, trial techniques, and the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Financial Responsibility Law. Mr. Connor has handled dozens of trials, administrative hearings, and arbitrations to verdict, and also is active at the appellate level, in both state and federal court. He has a first-hand understanding of bad faith law and prevention, having worked as in-house corporate counsel with a national multi-line insurance carrier for a number of years prior to joining Margolis Edelstein. In this role, Mr. Connor gained an intimate knowledge of all aspects of the insurance industry, including good-faith claims handling and investigation, claims policy development and training, and bad-faith avoidance. Mr. Connor has had the unique experience of being deposed on a number of occasions throughout the U.S. in bad-faith and coverage matters. He is a member of the Lackawanna County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Mr. Connor earned his B.A. degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and his J.D. degree from Widener University School of Law.
CHARLES L. CONSAGRA was a former partner and of counsel in Needle Law Firm and is currently of counsel with the Law Offices of Mascelli & Paterson, where he concentrates in the field of administrative law, with primary specialty in the areas of workers' compensation, Social Security, and unemployment compensation. He has published several articles in the area of workers' compensation, Social Security and ethics, as well as presenting seminars for National Business Institute and to the Department of Public Welfare Disability Advocates personnel. Since 1978, Mr. Consagra has been a part-time faculty member at Keystone College as an instructor in the areas of education, behavioral sciences, criminal justice, and business law. He is an instructor in business for graduate students through Marywood University. Mr. Consagra earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Scranton, and his Master of Arts in counseling psychology, and Master of Science in Ed from Marywood University. Mr. Consagra also holds a M.Div and Ph.D. (all but dissertations).
