ASHLEY D. ALFONSO is a partner with the Atlanta law firm of Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers, LLP. She practices in the areas of general liability and civil litigation, focusing primarily in automobile litigation, premises liability, medical malpractice, and workers' compensation defense. Ms. Alfonso's representative experience includes the defense of trucking, automobile accident and uninsured motorist claims, medical malpractice claims against health care providers, and premises liability claims against restaurant, retailers and other businesses in the hospitality industry. She has jury trial experience in medical malpractice, trucking, and automobile cases in addition to handling motions for summary judgment, appeals, and alternative dispute resolutions at the state and federal levels. Ms. Alfonso is admitted in all state and appellate courts in Georgia and Florida; the Northern, Middle, and Southern districts of Georgia; and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. She received her J.D. degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law and graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.A. degree in history. Ms. Alfonso is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and The Florida Bar. She is also on the Board of Directors of the Druid Hills Child Development Center.
