AARON S. EVENCHIK is a partner with Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP, where he focuses his practice on construction and real estate law, where he performs both transactional and litigation work. His cross practice enables him to resolve disputes creatively and efficiently by understanding the underling goals of the original deal and drafting transactional documents to avoid problems and disputes. His degree in civil engineering coupled with a half-dozen years in-house with a construction company, allows him to understand construction and real estate clients’ business needs, operational limitations, and goals. Dubbed “zealous” and “creative” by opposing counsel, Mr. Evenchik advocates for and has enabled clients of all sizes to close on properties, deals, and leases - small and large - to grow their businesses. He has significant first chair experience in construction, real estate, zoning, and contract disputes as well as in asserting lien and bond claims, defending and prosecuting claims for and against contractors and subcontractors, as well as significant zoning litigation experience. Mr. Evenchik has been named to the Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Stars list (2013-2016) and in 2015 was the recipient of the Honorable Mention Award as a Hero Behind the Scenes from Project Love. He is admitted to practice in Ohio; U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio and Southern District of Ohio; and District of Colorado. MATTHEW GRASHOFF is an attorney at Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP, where he focuses his practice on commercial litigation and has experience in the areas of insurance coverage, appellate practice, oil and gas, and real estate litigation. He has represented clients through all stages of litigation, including participating in a jury trial and obtaining reversal of an adverse judgment on appeal. Since 2015, Mr. Grashoff has served as counsel to the Appellate Rules Committee of the Ohio Supreme Court Commission on the Rules of Practice and Procedure. He is admitted to practice before U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and the state of Ohio. Mr. Grashoff earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Allegheny College and his J.D. degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
MICHAEL PASCOE is a trial lawyer with Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP, he has experience in a wide range of commercial litigation representing both individuals and corporations in state and federal court. He routinely manages breach of contract claims, construction disputes, facilities management litigation, and business claims. Mr. Pascoe also advises clients on contract negotiation, commercial lease negotiations and construction contracts. His background as a computer programmer and IT systems administrator has helped him to litigate complex matters and represent designers of electrical test equipment in all aspects of their business. Mr. Pascoe frequently represents clients before the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission. He also has extensive experience defending clients in claims for violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Mr. Pascoe recently obtained a $1.4 million settlement of Court of Claims case against the Ohio Department of Transportation related to a mine grouting project under State Route 2. He is admitted in Ohio and U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio. Mr. Pascoe receive his B.A degree from Wittenberg University and his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
JEFFREY ROUSH is the Director of Construction Services at Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP. He works with the firm's attorneys and clients to implement best construction management practices and risk management measures that elevate our client service and outcomes. With more than 35 years of experience in the construction management industry, Mr. Roush has served in senior-level construction and project management positions on numerous projects for various hospitals, education departments, agencies and private sector companies. He has experience overseeing project delivery through the development, programming, budgeting, design, bidding, pre-construction, construction and activation phases. Prior to joining Hahn Loeser, Mr. Roush served as the Director of Construction at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. Before serving in that role, he led the construction management, general contracting, interiors, carpentry and special projects group at Marous Brothers Construction. His background includes 25 years as a project controls, scheduling, and claims consultant on numerous complex construction projects. He received his B.S degree, cum laude, from Bowling Green State University.
CHRISTOPHER ST. MARIE is an attorney at Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP, where focuses his practice on business litigation and complex commercial disputes, and is experienced in counseling clients on a wide variety of disputes, including breach of contract, business tort and negligence claims, insurance coverage issues, real estate and construction litigation, general construction disputes, patent infringement, franchise disputes, and claims for the return of stolen or illegally exported art. Mr. St. Marie is fully involved in all aspects of case development and trial preparation, arguing motions, engaging in mediation, and taking and defending depositions in state and federal proceedings, with extensive experience drafting briefs, pleadings, discovery, and legal memoranda. He is admitted to practice in Ohio. Mr. St. Marie is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. He earned his B.A. degree from John Carroll University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, Cleveland State University.
GREGORY THOMPSON is an attorney in Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP’s litigation group with a practice focused in complex commercial litigation. He has extensive experience handling various aspects of commercial litigation, including non-compete disputes; shareholder, fiduciary and business tort litigation; probate litigation; UCC contract disputes; and real estate litigation. Mr. Thompson is experienced in addressing potential claims from development through discovery, mediation, trial and appeal. He is also often called upon to obtain emergency injunctive relief, such as enforcement of time-sensitive noncompete and nonsolicitation agreements. Mr. Thompson represents clients before administrative agencies and in local, state and federal courts. For the past three years, he has served as a summer trial academy instructor at The Akron University School of Law - a testament to his strength in the courtroom. Mr. Thompson is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, and the State of Ohio. He is a member of Ohio State Bar Association, Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and American Bar Association. Mr. Thompson earned his B.B.A. degree from Ohio University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from The University of Akron School of Law.
