JON WARREN, P.L.S., currently serves as the land survey division manager for the City of Bellevue, Washington, and a professional land surveyor in the state of Washington since 1983. He has built a broad-based hybrid career with experience in the private and public sectors, as the Snohomish County surveyor (1994-2006); survey business line manager for WHPacific (2006-2009); senior associate and Puget Sound region survey manager for David Evans and Associates, Inc. (2009-2014); and currently with the city of Bellevue. Mr. Warren has served both the Land Surveyors Association of Washington (LSAW) for more than 30 years and the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS) for more than 20 years. After his term as LSAW president in 1994, he represented LSAW on the NSPS Board of Governors (1994-1999), served as NSPS Area 10 director (2000-2006), and as NSPS president (2015-2016). His efforts have resulted in receiving several awards, including multiple NSPS presidential citations, and the NSPS Surveying Excellence Award. He also represents LSAW on the Architects and Engineers Legislative Council (AELC), and has for most of the past 30 years.
