MICHAEL BRADLEY is the founding partner of Bradley Berkland Hagen & Herbst, LLC, a law firm based in the Twin Cities and he is special counsel to the Seattle-based municipal law firm, the Lighthouse Law Group. Mr. Bradley has 25 years of experience, practicing in the area of municipal telecommunications and cable franchising. He represents cities on wireless siting matters, wireless code updates, small cell legislation, and negotiating lease and license agreements for the use of public property by wireless carriers. Mr. Bradley also represents cities in cable franchise negotiations with Cox, Comcast and Charter, as well as other competitive cable providers. He negotiated the first competitive cable franchises in the Twin Cities with CenturyLink. Recently, Mr. Bradley assisted the city of Oklahoma City in successfully defending a class action law suit challenging the city's authority to receive a cable franchise fee. He is also the past chair of the Communications Law Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association and was elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the Ramsey County Bar Association. Mr. Bradley has been recognized as a Rising Star Attorney and Super Lawyer by Minnesota Law and Politics. He received his B.A. degree from University of Minnesota and earned his J.D. degree from Hamline University School of Law.
