ANTHONY V. CORTESE is a sole practitioner for Anthony V. Mr. Cortese also assisted Professor Welsh White at the University of Pittsburgh Law School with a chapter on particular issues in a treatise on evidence.
SCOTT W. DUTTON is a civil trial attorney with the Dutton Law Group. He practices in the areas of bad faith, casualty insurance defense, fraud and SIU, personal injury, and products liability. Mr. Dutton is a member of the American Bar Association, Defense Research Institute and the Florida Defense Lawyers Association, where he serves as its continuing legal education chairperson. He has been board certified in civil trial practice by The Florida Bar since 1992. He received his J.D. degree from Ohio Northern University, Pettit College of Law and his B.A. degree from Florida International University in Miami.
KATHRYN E. LEE is the research and writing, trial support and appellate side of Woods Trial Law, a small but relentless litigation firm. She has significant experience litigating insurance bad faith and insurance coverage at the trial level and on appeal. Ms. Lee is the author of “Discovery and Confidentiality Agreements,” published in the Stetson Journal of Advocacy in 2015. She is a member of the Florida Justice Association and the Tampa Bay Inn of Court. Ms. Lee earned her J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Florida State University School of Law and her B.A. degree, magna cum laude with honors, from the University of North Florida.
MATTHEW C. SCARBOROUGH is the managing partner of Scarborough Attorneys at Law which he has operated since its inception in 2001. Mr. Scarborough has exclusively practiced in the insurance defense arena for the past 23 years since being admitted to The Florida Bar in 1992. He earned his B.B.A. degree from Stetson University and his J.D. degree from the University of Miami School of Law. Mr. Scarborough is a member of DRI, as well as the Florida Defense Lawyers Association. His practice areas include automobile defense, premises liability, insurance coverage, property insurance defense, bad faith and construction defect litigation. KEVIN B. WOODS is the principal of Woods Trial Law. Mr. Woods' litigation practice is focused in the areas of brain and spinal cord injury, wrongful death, and general civil litigation.
