DANIEL KINGSLEY is a partner with Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers, LLP, where his practice includes general liability counsel and civil litigation, with an emphasis on transportation law, premises liability, and products liability. Specifically, he defends motor carriers, their drivers, and insurers in all aspects of litigation stemming from motor vehicle collisions. Mr. Kingsley earned his B.S. degree from Butler University and his J.D. degree from Wake Forest University School of Law. He is a member of the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation, Georgia Defense Lawyers Association, Georgia Motor Trucking Association, State Bar of Georgia, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Atlanta, Young Leaders Council, and the Shepherd Center Society. Mr. Kingsley is admitted to practice in Georgia and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Middle districts of Georgia.
ANITA LAMAR is the owner of Lamar Law Office, LLC, where she specializes in the areas of personal injury. She earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of West Georgia, and after graduating from UWG, Ms. Lamar obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law. She attended Oklahoma City University on a merit scholarship and received several academic awards during her time there. Ms. Lamar graduated in the top fourth of her class and is currently licensed to practice in Georgia. She has served as the vice president of Henry County Bar Association and is an active member of the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys (GABWA), the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA), and the Gate City Bar Association. Ms. Lamar is also a proud member of the National Bar Association, a predominantly African American Bar Association.
MICHAEL P. MANFREDI is an attorney with the Atlanta law firm of Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker LLP, where he focuses on civil litigation with an emphasis on premises liability, general liability, and insurance coverage. His experience also includes investigating and mediating allegations of deliberate indifference, wrongful death, and professional negligence under the Georgia Tort Claims Act. Mr. Manfredi earned his bachelor's degree from Wake Forest University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the Georgia State University School of Law.
CHARLES McMALL MEDLIN is a Managing Partner at Bovis, Kyle, Burch & Medlin, LLC and oversees its other lawyers who specialize in defending complex litigation. He has successfully handled and tried hundreds of trials defending named insurers, businesses, homeowners, and automobile owners. Mr. Medlin clerked for the firm in 1989 and joined the firm as an Attorney in May of 1990. He was made a Partner on January 1, 1997. Bovis, Kyle & Burch included Mr. Medlin as a Named Partner on January 1, 2013 when the firm name changed. Mr. Medlin received his B.A. degree at Duke University, where he graduated magna cum laude. While a student, he was extremely active on the Duke Debate Team (1979-82) and served as Captain of the Team in 1982 when his team received national recognition including a Top Ten Ranking. Mr. Medlin received his J.D. degree, with honors, from the University of North Carolina. At UNC, he was awarded the Van Hecke Scholarship. Mr. Medlin was selected by his professors to be an assistant teacher during his second and third years in law school. He was also chosen for the Holderness Moot Court where he was a Member and also competed on several teams, winning a southeastern regional championship and advancing to Nationals and placing second in another competition. During law school, Mr. Medlin received the esteemed American Jurisprudence Award in Civil Procedure for achieving the highest grade in his class out of 105 students. He is a member in the Georgia Bar Association, the Atlanta Bar Association (Member, Family Law Section), the Forsyth County Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia, the Old Warhorse Club, the Lawyers Club of Atlanta, and was admitted to the United States Supreme Court in 2017. Mr. Medlin is a certified Arbitrator and Mediator, and he actively mediates cases for other lawyers. He is also a member of the Georgia Collaborative Practice Institute.
JAMES A. ROBSON is a cofounding partner with Glass & Robson, LLC. Mr. Robson handles a wide variety of cases throughout the state of Georgia, including automobile wrecks, trucking/tractor-trailer wrecks, motorcycle wrecks, bicycle wrecks, premises liability, slip/trip and falls, negligent security, apartment shootings/assaults, defective/dangerous products, wrongful death, spinal cord injuries, and brain injuries. He is admitted to practice in Georgia; all state and superior courts of Georgia; the Georgia Court of Appeals; the Supreme Court of Georgia; the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Georgia; the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Georgia; the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals; and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Robson is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice. He earned his A.B. degrees, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia at Athens; and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law.
REBECCA STRICKLAND is a partner with Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers, LLP, where she defends insurance carriers, as well as insured businesses and individuals, in coverage disputes, commercial litigation, premises liability, and commercial transactions that involve nuances or special complexities. She focuses her practice on first-party property claims, bad faith claims, and defense of insureds. That practice includes experience in complex commercial litigation, including contractual, royalty, and franchisor/franchisee disputes. Ms. Strickland earned her B.S. degree from Georgia Institute of Technology and her J.D. degree from Georgia State University College of Law. She is a member of the Defense Research Institute, Georgia IASIU, and the State Bar of Georgia. Ms. Strickland is admitted to practice in Georgia.
ZACHARY H. THOMAS is an attorney with Bergen Bergen & Thomas, where his areas of practice include catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, medical negligence, brain and birth injuries, products liability and workers' compensation. He was selected as a Rising Star by Georgia Super Lawyers for 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012. Mr. Thomas is admitted to practice in Georgia and before the Georgia Court of Appeals, Georgia Supreme Court, and the U.S. District Court, Southern and Middle districts of Georgia. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the American and Savannah bar associations, Savannah Trial Lawyers Association, Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice. Mr. Thomas earned his B.A. degree from New York University and his J.D. degree from Mercer University (member, Moot Court Board, Order of the Barristers).
