This course or a portion thereof has been approved by the Louisiana Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Committee of the Louisiana State Bar Association. JILLIAN A. WOOD is a partner with the Illinois offices of Stange Law Firm, P.C. She represents clients in Illinois and Missouri in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, guardianship, adoption, paternity, and other domestic relation matters. She is licensed to practice in Illinois and Missouri. Ms. Wood has extensive knowledge in the area of family law. While in law school, she interned with the school’s legal clinic, where she assisted clients with child guardianship and child orders of protection cases. Prior to joining Stange Law Firm, P.C., Ms. Wood worked for a general practice firm, where she handled numerous family law cases, as well as personal injury, administrative law and general litigation cases. She has argued in front of appellate courts in Illinois and Missouri, and is a member of the Family Law Section of the Illinois State Bar Association. Ms. Wood has been instrumental in the growth of Stange Law Firm, P.C.’s Illinois offices. Along with being selected as a 2015 Rising Star, she was lead counsel rated for divorce law in 2014. Ms. Wood earned her B.S. degree in clinical laboratory science from St. Louis University, where she attended the university as a Presidential Scholar. She also earned her J.D. degree and her Master of Public Health degree from St. Louis University.
