D. SCOTT DUNHAM is an attorney in Stillwater, Minnesota. He focuses his practice on personal injury/auto, underinsured/uninsured motorists, and paralegal instruction. Mr. Dunham is a member of the Minnesota Association for Justice and is licensed to practice law in both Minnesota and Wisconsin. He frequently serves as an arbitrator. Mr. Dunham has argued cases to the Minnesota Court of Appeals and the Minnesota Supreme Court. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Minnesota and his J.D. degree from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota.
ROBERT J. KASIETA is the founder of Kasieta Legal Group, LLC, in Madison, Wisconsin. He is a certified civil pretrial and trial specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocates. Mr. Kasieta practices in civil litigation, with an emphasis on plaintiff personal injury and employment cases, as well as commercial litigation. He has written and taught extensively in the areas of trial practice, personal injury law and insurance law, and is an instructor of trial practice at the University of Wisconsin Law School. Mr. Kasieta is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit, and all Wisconsin courts. He is a member of the Dane County Bar Association, State Bar of Wisconsin, and the American Association for Justice. Mr. Kasieta earned his B.S. degree, summa cum laude, from Northern Michigan University and his J.D. degree from Marquette University Law School.
TERRENCE M. POLICH is an experienced and accomplished trial attorney at Lawton & Cates SC. He specializes in personal injury, professional negligence, business disputes and consumer law. In addition, Mr. Polich is one of Wisconsin’s leading lemon law and consumer warranty lawyers. He is a respected leader in the legal community. He is the chair of the Dane County Bar Association’s Law for the Public Committee, providing education and legal information about our legal system to the public. He is the past chair of the Wisconsin Association for Justice Program Committee and is currently a member of that organization’s Board of Directors. Mr. Polich is a member of the Board of the Wisconsin Justice Initiative, working to make the legal system fair and equitable to all members of our community. Among his noteworthy client results are a 2018 wrongful death settlement in a Federal Tort Claim of $2.3 million. He was also the lead attorney in a series of cases resulting in a total recovery of over $4.6 million for a group of credit unions victimized by fraud and professional negligence. Mr. Polich is a 1998 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School, where he received the Leon Feingold Public Interest Student Award and was a member of the Moot Court Board. He is a frequent lecturer at continuing legal education seminars for attorneys practicing in litigation fields. Mr. Polich also has written a number of articles on legal topics for the trial lawyers’ Wisconsin publication, The Verdict.
JAMES K. THEISEN is an attorney in the Rockford office of Hupy and Abraham. With more than a decade of experience, he handles personal injury claims. Mr. Theisen earned his J.D. degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law, where he received numerous awards and scholarships, including the Phi Delta Phi Award for outstanding achievement in legal ethics and the Academic Achievement Scholarship. He also served as a student ambassador for Southern Illinois University School of Law and participated in William & Mary School of Law’s summer program in Madrid, Spain. Mr. Theisen is licensed to practice in Illinois’ state and federal courts, as well as the state of Missouri. He also is a member of the Winnebago County and the Illinois State bar associations.
