JORGE M. ABRIL is managing partner at Abril Law where his primary focus is on consumer and commercial collections including related litigation. The firm represents businesses throughout the United States and abroad, and excels in the enforcement of post-judgment remedies including garnishment, attachment and execution. Additionally, the Abril Law firm maintains an active practice in the healthcare reimbursement arena, representing providers with an emphasis on revenue cycle matters, including managed care litigation in state and federal courts. He earned his B.A. degree from California State University and his J.D. degree from Nova Southeastern University Law School, where he was a member of the Moot Court Society.
MICHAEL J. CHAMPLIN is a partner with Champlin & Foreman, PLLC where his main areas of practice are collections, personal injury, and bankruptcy. Mr. Champlin teaches at the University of Richmond School of Continuing and Professional Studies. He has shared his legal knowledge with students as an adjunct professor at the University of Richmond for 25 years. Mr. Champlin is a member of the Richmond, Henrico County, and Chesterfield bar associations; and the Virginia State Bar. He earned his B.A. degree from Wake Forest University and his J.D. degree from Cumberland School of Law of Samford University.
LYNDA L. LAING is a partner in the law firm of Strauss, Factor, Laing & Lyons in Providence, Rhode Island, where her practice concentrates in the areas of collections and litigation. Ms. Laing is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Rhode Island and American bar associations, the Commercial Law League of America, and the American Bankruptcy Institute. Ms. Laing served as chairperson of the Bench Bar Committee for the Rhode Island Bar Association. She earned her A.B. degree from Albion College and her J.D. degree from Case Western Reserve University Law School.
