SCOTT J. BROOK is the principal attorney with Scott J. Brook, P.A. where he focuses his work on family law and workers' compensation matters. Mr. Brook has contributed to his community in various ways, including acting as the mayor of Coral Springs and as a city commissioner. He is a member of The Florida Bar, the Broward County Bar Association, and the Family Law Section of The Florida Bar. As a member of The Florida Bar, Mr. Brook has practiced successfully before the Florida Supreme Court, the First District Court of Appeal, the Judges of Compensation Claims of the Tri-County area, Collier County and Orange County, as well as the Dade, Broward and Palm Beach state courts. Mr. Brook received his B.S. and MBA degrees from Tulane University, and his J.D. degree from the University of Miami.
AUBREY H. DUCKER JR. is an attorney with Sperling Ducker P.L.C. His practice areas include collaborative divorce, elder law, family law, guardianship, as well as estate planning and probate. Mr. Ducker stumbled into probate cases following a client’s divorce after 62 years of marriage. Implications of competence and planning for probate impacted the parties’ marital settlement agreement in ways unanticipated from a simple divorce perspective. He works for practical solutions for families in crisis, whether in collaborative divorce or litigation and also in probate or guardianship litigation. Representing everyone from homeless millionaires to orphaned minors, he has significant experience with special needs trusts, planning for disability in divorce and other unusual complex issues. Mr. Ducker is a member of the American Bar Association, Orange County Bar Association, The Collaborative Family Law Council of Central Florida, International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, and the Florida Academy of Collaborative Professionals. After serving aboard the USS George Bancroft, a nuclear ballistic missile submarine, he earned his A.A. degree from Valencia Community College, B.A. degree from the University of Central Florida, and J.D. degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
AARON V. JOHNSON is a shareholder in the law firm of Collins Brown Barkett, Chartered, in Vero Beach, Florida. Mr. Johnson primarily focuses his practice on the litigation areas of family law/divorce, civil (including personal injury), commercial and business, construction, employment, real estate, and appellate practice. He graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Fine Arts, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from Florida State University. He earned his J.D. degree from Florida State College of Law. Mr. Johnson is a member of the American Bar Association, The Florida Bar, the Florida Justice Association, and the Indian River County Bar Association. He has also served as co-chair of the Indian River County Young Lawyers Division of the Indian River County Bar Association, which was awarded the Outstanding Public Service Award designation during his tenure.
THOMAS R. PEPPLER is the managing shareholder at Peppler Law, P.A., in Oviedo, Florida and has more than 35 years of experience. Although he has special interest and experience in family law, Mr. Peppler's practice is diverse, ranging from divorce law, to real estate litigation, to contract litigation and litigating all forms of business disputes. His practice has included the representation of lending institutions, government bodies, large corporations, and a variety of individuals and small businesses. Mr. Peppler routinely appears in all Florida courts. He earned his B.A. degree from Belmont Abbey College and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law. Before attending law school, Mr. Peppler was an aviator and officer in the U.S. Army, and he also served for three years as an Army judge advocate in Washington, D.C.
