JORDAN C. BUTLER is an attorney with Carlile Patchen & Murphy LLP. Mr. Butler focuses his practice on tax advice and planning, business transactions, real estate transactions, and other commercial matters. He has experience with drafting and negotiating asset and equity purchase agreements, real estate purchases, income tax settlements, lease agreements, and a variety of other business contracts. He also has experience with entity formation, governance, operations, and some business litigation. Mr. Butler is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association. He has been admitted to practice before the State of Ohio, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and the U.S. Tax Court. Mr. Butler earned his undergraduate degree from Miami University, his J.D. degree from Capital University Law School, and his LL.M. degree in taxation from University of Miami School of Law.
CHRIST GAETANOS has practiced law for 38 years, in private practice, governmental and corporate settings. Currently, he is general counsel to Book Dog Books, LLC, and its affiliates, based in Columbus, Ohio, a worldwide bookseller. Mr. Gaetanos's legal focus has been in the transactional, tax (international, federal and state) and intellectual property areas. He has represented several privately and publicly held companies in matters related to these topics. He earned his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the State University of New York at Buffalo and began his legal career as a clerk in the federal judiciary. Mr. Gaetanos has lectured worldwide on tax issues. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
BENJAMIN S. ZACKS is the founding member of the Columbus firm of Zacks Law Group LLC, where his practice includes representation of businesses and individuals in connection with business formation, restructuring, wealth planning and funding; asset preservation, estate planning and probate; entrepreneurial law; health care practice group law; intellectual property, computers, energy and technology; debt restructuring, taxation, accounting, auditing, asset recovery matters; and international transactions.
