DAVID G. EATON is an attorney with Eaton Law, where his primary area of practice is prosecuting medical malpractice cases on behalf of patients. He earned his B.A. degree from Michigan State University and his J.D. degree from Stetson University. Mr. Eaton is a member of The Florida Bar, the American Association for Justice, and the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers. He is a board certified civil trial lawyer by The Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education. Mr. Eaton is the author of "The Representation of Kimberly Bergalis, the First Confirmed Transmission of AIDS from a Health Care Worker to a Patient," as well as author and co-author of publications regarding jury selection, trying high dollar cases and medical malpractice. RICHARD D. GIGLIO is an attorney with the law firm of Maney|Gordon in Tampa, Florida, where he practices in the areas of plaintiff’s personal injury and medical malpractice. Mr. Giglio and his firm co-counsel with attorneys from across the country as trial counsel in all manner of injury cases. He has extensive experience handling cases through every aspect of litigation. Mr. Giglio has more than 50 jury trials to his credit and several hundred non-jury trials. He has also argued before Florida's Second District Court of Appeals. Upon graduating law school, Mr. Giglio spent several years serving the citizens of Florida as an assistant state's attorney in Tampa. While there, he prosecuted and tried almost every type of crime from DUI to homicide. He also served as defense counsel for major insurance companies for approximately four years, a position which allowed him to gain significant insight into insurance practices that he now uses for the benefit of injured plaintiffs. Mr. Giglio earned his B.A. degree from The College of William & Mary and his J.D. degree from Villanova University School of Law. He also spent a year studying abroad at the University of St. Andrews. Mr. Giglio has been a member of the The Florida Bar since 1997, and is admitted to practice before all state courts and federal courts in Florida. SCOTT R. JEEVES is the president of the Jeeves Law Group, PA, in St. Petersburg, Florida. He is a certified circuit court mediator and admitted to practice in the state courts of Florida, and before the U.S. District Court of the Middle District of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Mr. Jeeves also serves as class counsel in numerous cases both in state and federal court. He handles complex personal injury and medical malpractice actions as lead counsel. Mr. Jeeves earned his B.A. degree from the University of Florida and his J.D. degree from Stetson University College of Law. KATHRYN E. LEE is the research and writing, trial support and appellate side of Woods Trial Law, a small but relentless litigation firm. She has significant experience litigating insurance bad faith and insurance coverage at the trial level and on appeal. Ms. Lee is the author of “Discovery and Confidentiality Agreements,” published in the Stetson Journal of Advocacy in 2015. She is a member of the Florida Justice Association and the Tampa Bay Inn of Court. Ms. Lee earned her J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law; and her B.A. degree, magna cum laude with honors, from the University of North Florida. RICHARD L. PURTZ is a partner with Goldstein Buckley Cechman Rice & Purtz PA. Mr. Purtz is in the personal injury department and his practice emphasizes personal injury, wrongful death and insurance claims litigation. He is an adjunct professor at The University of St. Francis in Graduate Studies in health services administration. Mr. Purtz is board certified as a civil trial attorney by The Florida Bar, having completed over fifty jury trials. He is a member of Florida Justice Association, American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), American Association for Justice, The Florida Bar and Lee County Bar Association.
