DANA A. JONSON is a civil rights attorney in private practice in Connecticut. Her firm, The Law Offices of Dana A. Jonson, LLC, has exclusively represented the civil rights of children with disabilities through the special education process for 15 years. Ms. Jonson represents families from early in the process at PPT meetings through mediation, due process, and litigation in state or federal court if necessary. She is a graduate of the Northeastern University School of Law, where she held internships at the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Civil Rights, and Kotin, Crabtree & Strong, LLP, a law firm that represents children with disabilities through the special education process in Massachusetts. Ms. Jonson also holds a Master of Science degree in education from Simmons College, with a focus on intensive special needs, and a Bachelor's degree in psychology from Fairfield University. She is currently admitted to the Connecticut State and Federal bar.
