LANCE ROGERS is the principal with the Law Offices of Lance Rogers in San Diego, California. As a part of his regulatory compliance practice, he currently represents many of the leading cannabis companies in California, including retailers, manufacturers, and agriculture ventures. Mr. Rogers has litigated a wide array of matters related to cannabis, including criminal defense, regulatory violations, land use/zoning, complex business litigation and partnership, and dispute matters. He attained the first dispensary license in Southern California through the county of San Diego. Mr. Rogers has written extensively about the cannabis industry and is a frequent speaker at legal conferences across the United States. He served as general counsel for the California Cannabis Industry Association, a state industry group he helped to form. Mr. Rogers earned his J.D. degree from California Western School of Law and his B.A. degree from the University of California, San Diego.
