This program may qualify for up to 3.0 hours (based on a 60-minute credit hour) of self-study credit, of which 0.0 hour will apply to self-study ethics credit. No more than 4.0 hours of self-study CLE credit may be earned during a reporting period. This program is approved for 3.0 hours (based on a 60-minute credit hour) of credit by the Louisiana Specialization Board in the area of Estate Planning and Administration and 1.25 hours in the area of Tax Law.
LAWRENCE D. HUTER is a sole practitioner in Lafayette, where he practices in the areas of estate planning and administration. Mr. Huter is board certified in estate planning and estate administration by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization, and has served on the Estate Planning and Administration Advisory Committee to that board. He is licensed to practice before all Louisiana district and appellate courts, the U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. District Court of Louisiana (Western District), the U.S. Court of Appeals, 5th Circuit, the Internal Revenue Service, and the Louisiana Tax Commission. Mr. Huter is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the American Bar Association (Probate and Taxation sections). He earned his B.B.A. degree from the University of Oklahoma's Price College of Business, and his J.D. degree from Louisiana State University's Paul M. Hebert Law Center.
