KARL AHLRICHS is a consultant and business developer for Gregory and Appel Insurance. Mr. Ahlrichs has broad experience in senior level problem solving, with proven skills in handling complex organizational issues with uncommon sense. He is a national speaker and author, and is often quoted in the local and national media. Mr. Ahlrichs joined Gregory and Appel Insurance after serving as a founding partner of ExactHire, a human resources services firm. Prior experience was as a senior consultant for Professional Staff Management, Indiana’s largest and oldest PEO. Prior to this, he was in business development in the Indianapolis office of Marsh & McLennan, and vice president of Right Management Consultants, an international human resources consulting and outplacement firm. At those firms, his clients included Roche Diagnostics, Boeing, Apple Computer, Wellpoint, and Frito Lay. Mr. Ahlrichs facilitates an invitation-only roundtable for Indiana CFOs. For more than a decade he was the program chair for the Indiana Society for Human Resources Management annual conference. He is a member of HRPDA, SHRM, the American Society of Training and Development, and the Association for Psychological Type. Mr. Ahlrichs is president of the Indiana Chapter of the National Speaker’s Association. In 2003, he was named the SHRM Human Resource Professional of the Year for the state of Indiana. He has presented at the National SHRM Conference for 10 consecutive years. Mr. Ahlrichs is enrolled in the Butler University M.B.A. program.
KIMBERLY D. JESELSKIS is a member with Jeselskis Brinkerhoff and Joseph, LLC, where she represents both individuals and employers in a wide range of employment law and benefits matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblower, the Family and Medical Leave Act, wage and overtime violations, wrongful termination, short-term disability benefits, and long-term disability benefits. As a registered civil mediator, Ms. Jeselskis also mediates employment-related disputes. She earned her B.S. degree, cum laude, from Ball State University; her M.A. degree from Ball State University; and her J.D. degree from Valparaiso University School of Law. Ms. Jeselskis is admitted to practice law in Indiana and Arizona, and before the District Court for the Northern and Southern districts of Indiana, the District Court for the District of Arizona, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court. She is currently a council member on the Employment, Benefits and Labor Law Council for the Indiana State Bar Association, a committee member on the Employment and Labor Law Executive Committee for the Indianapolis Bar Association, a member of the National Employment Law Association, a board member for Indiana NELA, and a member of the American Bar Association.
MACKENZIE JOHNSON is an attorney with the law firm of Jeselskis Brinkerhoff and Joseph, LLC where she focuses her practice on litigation, employment, and labor law. She represents both employees and employers in contract disputes, severance agreements, and charges of discrimination. She also aids small businesses in creating operating and employment agreements. As a prior educator, Ms. Johnson is always thrilled to get a case focusing on issues educators face in their own school corporations. She graduated from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where she was the senior executive editor of the Indiana Law Review. Ms. Johnson also joined the Robert H. Staton Intramural Moot Court Competition, was an active member of Women's Caucus, and participated in the Immigration Clinic at Indiana Legal Services. While at JBJ, she has been published in DTCI's Indiana Civil Litigation Review, Volume XVI 2019: The False Claims Act.
JOHN R. PANICO is a labor and employment attorney with the Indianapolis and Salt Lake City firm of Panico Law LLC. He concentrates his practice in employment litigation in federal and state court, and before fair employment practice administrative agencies. Mr. Panico is admitted to practice law in Indiana, Utah and California; and before the U.S. Court of Appeals. He is an employment mediator and arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Michigan Employment Relations Commission, and the Indiana Education Employment Relations Board. Mr. Panico has served as labor and employment counsel for the City of San Diego, Magnesium Corporation of America; and has held senior-level corporate labor relations and human resources positions in manufacturing, health care, mining, mass transit, higher education, service, and utilities organizations, in both the public and private sectors. He earned his B.A. degree from the State University of New York, College at Old Westbury; his Master of Science, with distinction, from New York Institute of Technology; and his J.D. degree from Irvine University School of Law.
LINDA A. POLLEY is an Owner/Partner at the law firm of Haller & Colvin, P.C., in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She has been practicing law since 1986. Ms. Polley is licensed to practice in the state of Indiana and admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. She is also admitted and has argued before the United State Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Ms. Polley has been litigating in the areas of employment law, civil rights defense, school law and general insurance defense litigation since 2000, having transitioned out of the family law. Her practice involves both litigation and consulting services, primarily for businesses and corporations. She has represented clients in all aspects of litigation in federal court, state court, and at the agency level. Ms Polley has been a chosen as a Best Lawyer in America since 2013 and as a Super Lawyer since 2015. She is a member of the Benjamin Harrison American Inn of Court and served as its President in 2011-2012. Ms. Polley also was a five-year member of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana's Attorney Grievance Committee from 2011-2016. She earned her B.A. degree from Indiana University and her J.D. degree from the University of Dayton Law School.
