FREDERICK L. DORSEY is an attorney with Kainen, Escalera & McHale, P.C., in Hartford, Connecticut. Mr. Dorsey is involved in a wide variety of general and special education, labor relations, and employment issues, including union representation elections, contract negotiations and administration, unfair labor practice charges, and employment discrimination matters in both the public and private sectors. He focuses his practice in the area of education law, representing boards of education in special education, student expulsion, transportation, and residency hearings, in addition to conventional labor relations and employment litigation matters. Mr. Dorsey earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and Marshall University; his M.B.A. degree from the University of New Haven; and his J.D. degree from Western New England University School of Law. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association, the Connecticut School Attorneys Council, and the National School Boards Association Council of Attorneys.
