RUSSEL J. GEIST is a partner with Hutchison & Steffen, PLLC, where he focuses his practice primarily on trust and probate litigation. Mr. Geist has experience helping clients with Nevada asset protection and dynasty trusts, advanced estate and gift tax planning techniques, and generational wealth transfer planning for high-net-worth clients. He has handled complex trust and probate administration matters in addition to litigation involving trusts and estates representing both fiduciaries and beneficiaries. Mr. Geist currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Congressional Award Council of Nevada where he also serves as its legal counsel. He is admitted to practice in Nevada and Texas state courts, as well as the U.S. District Court of Nevada. Mr. Geist earned his B.S. degree from the university of Nebraska, his J.D. degree from the University of Nevada Boyd School of Law, and his LL.M. degree in Taxation from Dedman School of Law, Southern Methodist University.
