MATT BRINKER is an attorney with Royer Cooper Cohen Braunfeld LLC, in the Philadelphia area. He is a business lawyer who focuses his practice on M&A, debt and equity financings, start-ups, and other corporate and commercial transactions. Mr. Brinker works with a variety of business clients, from entrepreneurs and their start-ups to large publicly-traded companies, in a variety of sectors (including transportation and logistics, financial services, internet technology, medical devices and business services). Mr. Brinker represents early-stage and emerging companies in capital-raising transactions - from seed rounds to Series C rounds to control investments - and represents middle-market private equity firms and their portfolio companies in numerous M&A transactions, domestic and international, involving preferred equity financing and/or senior secured and mezzanine debt financing. Mr. Brinker also regularly serves as “outside general counsel” for corporate clients on various commercial and corporate governance matters. Mr. Brinker received his law degree, magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, from the Temple University, Beasley School of Law, and also holds an M.B.A. degree from Indiana University, Kelley School of Business, and a B.A.degree from Johns Hopkins University. Mr. Brinker is a member of the Philadelphia chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) and the Benefit Company Bar Association.
