JAMES W. CUSHING is the senior associate at the Law Office of Faye Riva Cohen, P.C. Mr. Cushing concentrates his practice in the areas of contracts law, family law, real estate and landlord/tenant law, small claims law, and unemployment compensation law. Over the course of his career, Mr. Cushing has published over 75 articles to date. His articles have appeared in The Legal Intelligencer (in which he is a regular columnist), Upon Further Review, and The Pennsylvania Family Lawyer. Mr. Cushing is a member of the Executive Committee for the Family Law Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association and co-chair of its Case Law Committee, a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Lawyers Referral and Information Service, and volunteers and has been on the Board of Directors of the Christian Legal Clinics of Philadelphia. He also serves as chancellor of the Anglican Diocese of Christ Our Hope. He is admitted to the bars of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Mr. Cushing earned his B.S. degree, cum laude, with honors from Pennsylvania State University in Harrisburg, and his J.D. degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law where he earned the Lena L. Hale award.
