DR. JAS G. BROOKS is a founding partner of Mazur & Brooks, A Professional Law Corporation. Dr. Brooks is a former physician and surgeon and is currently an attorney at law practicing in her area of expertise, medical malpractice. She is also an associate professor at Southern University and A&M College: Department of Biology Health & Sciences - Human Anatomy & Physiology and Department of Environmental Toxicology, Doctorate Program. Dr. Brooks is currently a member of Southern University and A&M College HBCU Coalition for Deepwater Horizon Response to the British Petroleum Initiative. Her primary practice area is in protecting the rights of injured individuals that have suffered professional medical malpractice, including wrongful death, amputations, birth injury, brain injury, burns, child death, dental malpractice, failure to diagnose, improper consent, nursing home injuries, paraplegia, prescription drug errors, and spinal cord injury.
