JESSICA M. KRAMER is an attorney and managing partner at Kramer, Elkins & Watt, LLC ("KEW"), in Madison, Wisconsin, where she represents landlords in all aspects of landlord-tenant law; handles employment law and contract matters for businesses; counsels clients on minimizing risk and avoiding litigation; and represents clients in litigation, should it become necessary. Ms. Kramer enjoys navigating the complex maze of regulations for her clients, as well as providing advice on getting rid of that problem employee or problem tenant. When disputes arise, she and her colleagues provide an appropriately aggressive defense before state and federal courts and government agencies. Ms. Kramer has been working with clients in southern Wisconsin since 2004, and in the past few years, has expanded to serving landlord clients all over the state of Wisconsin. She and her partners at KEW also handle all types of civil litigation, family law, and assist businesses with various legal needs. Ms. Kramer received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
D. MARGEAUX THOMAS is an attorney with The Thomas Law Office, PLC. She represents small businesses and individuals in commercial litigation and consumer law cases at all levels of state and federal courts. Ms. Thomas counsels clients across a broad spectrum of issues, including landlord-tenant law, contract matters, real estate disputes, negotiated settlement, and risk management matters. She is licensed to practice law in state and federal courts in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. Ms. Thomas earned her B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Bowling Green State University; and her J.D. degree from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law.
