HAROEN CALEHR is an attorney with the law office of Calehr & Associates in Houston, Texas. Mr. Calehr has taught a continuing legal education seminar on immigration litigation and deportation defense at Thurgood Marshall School of Law. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, College of the State Bar of Texas, American Bar Association (member, Forum Committee on Air and Space Law; sections on Aviation and Immigration Litigation; Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section; Admiralty and Maritime Law; Aviation and Space Law; Automobile Law; International Law; and Trial Techniques), American Immigration Lawyers Association, associate of the U.S. Maritime Law Association, Young Texas Lawyers Association, and the AAJ. Mr. Calehr is board certified in immigration and nationality law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, a member of the Texas Supreme Court's Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee, and Sub-District 4 investigator, Houston, Texas, 2010 to present. He received a certificate of attendance in public international law from The Hague Academy of International Law and is a graduate of Gerry Spence's Trial Lawyers College. Mr. Calehr earned his B.A. degree from the University of Houston, his J.D. degree from Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law, and his LL.M. degree in admiralty law from Tulane University School of Law.
