RICHARD K. ABRAHAM is a member in the law firm of Abraham & Bauer, LLC, in Towson, Maryland. His practice focuses on elder law, including asset preservation, asset management in a fiduciary setting, medical assistance plans, medical assistance applications, guardianship, and special needs planning; estate and trust planning; and probate. He is a frequent lecturer on those topics, among others at McCormick Spices, Johns Hopkins Hospital and University, St. Joseph's Hospital, the pre-retirees of Baltimore City government, the Social Security Administration, Northrop Grumman, Bethlehem Steel, and the Baltimore and Bethesda Kiwanis clubs. Mr. Abraham is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association (Elder Law and Estate Planning sections); the Baltimore County Bar Association, where he has chaired different committees; The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA); and The Geriatric Assistance Information Network of Harford County. He is also a past member of the Baltimore City Bar Association and its Executive Committee. LEANNE FRYER-BROYLES is an attorney with Frost & Associates, LLC, located in Annapolis, Maryland. She focuses her practice on estates and trusts, and international tax compliance for individuals. Ms. Broyles also works with individuals who own assets abroad to achieve U.S. tax compliance and assists individuals with FATCA reporting, FIRTPA, Streamlined Compliance Procedures, Offshore Voluntary Disclosures, and offshore audits.
