MATTHEW NELSON is an attorney with EBSCO Industries, Inc., where he serves as an IT vendor management specialist, specifically for the EBSCO Information Services (EIS) Division. His practice focuses on strategic information technology vendor management, with an emphasis on contract life cycle management and contract negotiations for complex legal agreements related to the purchase of information technology. Prior to joining EBSCO Industries, Inc., Mr. Nelson worked for two years in the legal and contract management group at Regions Bank's Corporate Procurement Department. Before that, he designed vendor compliance programs for Regions Bank's Compliance Department, including producing compliance manuals, procedures and testing scripts. Mr. Nelson earned his B.A. degree from Auburn University and his J.D. degree and M.B.A. degree from the University of Alabama. He is a member of the Alabama State Bar.
