CHRISTOPHER M. HARPER is a partner in the law firm of Franke, Schultz & Mullen, PC, in Kansas City, Missouri. Mr. Harper is the chair of the firm’s Coverage, Bad Faith, and Extra-Contractual Liability Practice Group and specializes in insurance coverage, bad faith, and extra-contractual liability litigation in addition to practicing all aspects of insurance defense, commercial litigation, construction litigation, and complex, multi-party litigation. He is admitted to practice in both Missouri and Kansas. Mr. Harper received his B.A. degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and his J.D. degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law. He is a member of The Missouri Bar, the Kansas Bar Association, and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association.
MATTHEW McCOY is an attorney with Presley & Presley, LLC in Kansas City, where he focuses his practice in transportation accidents, insurance bad faith cases, and personal injury claims. Mr. McCoy also consults and donates time to work with the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys. He earned his undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri; and his J.D. degree, with honors, from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
JOHN L. MULLEN is an experienced trial attorney with Franke, Schultz & Mullen, PC, specializing in insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, and complex civil litigation, including significant experience in all facets of trucking litigation and transportation law. Mr. Mullen also practices in the area of white collar criminal defense, E&O defense of financial institutions and D&O defense of breach of fiduciary claims made against board members. He has tried in excess of 120 cases to a jury verdict in several state and federal courts. Mr. Mullen has been named to the Super Lawyers list for Kansas and Missouri every year from 2008 to 2019 in the area of insurance coverage. He has also been named Best of the Bar on several occasions and is a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America. Mr. Mullen is a 1991 graduate of Loyola Law School and a 1988 graduate of Missouri State University.
