"Personal Injury: What Insurance Companies Don't Want Plaintiffs to Know" is an accredited program under the regulations of the Iowa Supreme Court Commission on Continuing Legal Education. No more than 6.0 hours of unmoderated activity CLE credit may be earned during a reporting period.
STEVEN W. SHAW is an attorney with the Law Offices of Steven W. Shaw. He has offices in Mapleton, Utah and in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. Shaw’s first position after law school was doing flood and landslide insurance litigation for a plaintiff’s firm in the Santa Cruz Mountains just south of San Francisco. He opened his own office in Idaho where he expanded his practice to other types of insurance litigation, as well as real estate and business law. As his reputation grew, he was invited to handle cases in neighboring states. Mr. Shaw has written or has been coauthor of 10 separate articles or books, and has been a guest speaker or on the faculty of 14 different radio programs or legal seminars. He served for eight years on the Board of Directors of the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association and was one of four who created the trial attorney specialist designation in Idaho. Mr. Shaw earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and his J.D. degree from Golden Gate University.
