TODD W. BARTIMOLE is an attorney with Solomon, Steiner & Peck, Ltd. For over 25 years Mr. Bartimole has focused his practice on the needs of the elderly and disabled. He is a former Long Term Care Ombudsman, and ran a program to assist Medicare beneficiaries appeal their wrongfully denied Medicare claims. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, past president of the Ohio Chapter of NAELA, the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and is formally a member of the Board of Volunteer Guardianship Services. Mr. Bartimole is admitted to practice in Ohio. He earned his A.B. degree in political science from Ohio University; and his J.D. degree from Cleveland State University, Cleveland-Marshal College of Law in 1993. Ms. McMeechan has published articles and has spoken in the areas of probate, estate planning, government benefits, and special needs trusts. Ms. McMeechan is an accredited attorney with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys National and Ohio chapters; the Ohio State Bar Association's Estate, Trust & Probate Law Section and Elder & Special Needs Law Committee; as well as the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s Estate Planning, Probate & Trust Law and Women in Law sections. Ms. McMeechan is also a member of the Executive Board of the Consortium Against Adult Abuse (C3A) and chair of the C3A Conference Committee, and a member of Hospice of the Western Reserve’s Advisory Committee.
