LANDRA D. BLACKWELL is an attorney with Dinsmore & Shohl LLP. She focuses on corporate finance, commercial real estate, and corporate transactional law. Ms. Blackwell provides expert guidance on complex banking and financial transactions, offering line of sight into potential risks and opportunities. Ms. Blackwell is a member of the Louisville Bar Association, Corporate Law Section chair, 2014; Leadership Academy Class, 2008; and the March of Dimes REACH Awards Committee member, 2011-2016. She is admitted to practice in both Kentucky and Texas. Ms. Blackwell received her B.A.A.S. degree from the University of North Texas and her J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law.
MELISSA J. CRUMP is a partner with Crump Spurlock in Lexington, Kentucky. Ms. Crump focuses on estate planning and business law. Prior to opening Crump Spurlock she was the director of education for ElderCounsel, LLC, where she created and presented training for other attorneys. Ms. Crump spent nearly two decades working as a director and project manager in the medical and legal industries. She serves on an advisory board for an elder care facility in Lexington, Kentucky and is very involved in her local community. Ms. Crump earned her B.S. degree from the University of Kentucky and her J.D. degree from Northern Kentucky University’s Salmon P. Chase College of Law. She is the past chair for the Elder Section of the Kentucky Bar Association and is a frequent speaker at regional and national conferences, as well as elder care facilities.
CHADWICK A. McTIGHE is an attorney in the business litigation service group of Stites & Harbison PLLC, and is active in the firm's class action and appellate practice teams. He practices extensively in class action litigation, including consumer class actions, wage and hour disputes, and utilities cases. Mr. McTighe has also litigated numerous cases involving fiduciary duties, particularly in the shareholder and LLC membership contexts, including matters of first impression in Kentucky concerning fiduciary duties owed by LLC members. Patmon v. Hobbs , 280 S.W.3d 589 (Ky. Ct. App. 2009) and Patmon v. Hobbs, 2016 Ky. App. LEXIS 125 (Ky. Ct. App. July 15, 2016) (to be published). He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and his J.D. degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School. Mr. McTighe has been rated by Kentucky Super Lawyers.
BARRY S. SPURLOCK is a partner with Crump Spurlock in Lexington, Kentucky, where he has a general law practice. He is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association (Workers' Compensation Law Section). Mr. Spurlock earned his J.D. degree from Northern Kentucky University's Salmon P. Chase College of Law.
