KENNETH J. BAUMANN is an attorney with The Gallini Group where he focuses his practice on the representation of children with special needs throughout the entire state of Alabama. Mr. Baumann is admitted to practice in Alabama. He is a member of the Alabama State Bar, Birmingham Bar Association, and American Bar Association. Mr. Baumann earned his B.S. degree from Auburn University and J.D. degree, with honors, from Birmingham School of Law.

DEBORAH A. MATTISON is a member of the Birmingham law firm of Wiggins Childs Pantazis Fisher & Goldfarb LLC. Since 1980. Ms. Mattison has practiced in the areas of children’s rights, special education, disabled rights, handicapped rights, civil rights, employment litigation, and governmental liability. She lectures frequently at conferences regarding the legal rights of students with disabilities, both within and outside the state of Alabama. Ms. Mattison also provides legal training in the area of employment discrimination, with a special emphasis on the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Rehabilitation Act. She earned her B.S. degree at Western Michigan University and her J.D. degree at Antioch School of Law in Washington, D.C.

WESLEY ROMINE is of counsel with the Montgomery law firm of Morrow, Romine & Pearson, P.C. Mr. Romine is a certified mediator by the EEOC, the United States Postal Service and the state of Alabama. He is certified as an arbitrator by the American Arbitration Association, the Financial Industry Regulatory Agency (FINRA), and the state of Alabama. Mr. Romine is admitted to practice in Alabama; and before the United States District Court for the Middle, Southern and Northern districts of Alabama; the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit; and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association, Alabama State Bar, and Montgomery Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Romine earned his B.A. degree from Auburn University and J.D. degree from the University of Alabama School of Law. He has served as a §504 hearing officer in 12 disputes. Mr. Romine has been a special education hearing officer for the Alabama Department of Education since 1989.
