T. JAMES LEE is a shareholder and director in the Phoenix office of Fennemore Craig, P.C., and chairs the firm’s private wealth preservation (trusts and estates) practice group. He is certified as a trust and estate specialist by the State Bar of Arizona, and practices in the areas of estate planning, trust and estate administration, charitable giving, business design and structuring, international taxation, and commercial transactions. Mr. Lee serves on Arizona’s Estate and Trust Advisory Commission, and is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Utah State Bar, the ABA's Committee on Estate and Gift Taxes (Taxation Section), and is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). In addition to his professional activities, Mr. Lee is actively engaged with local and international charitable organizations. He earned his B.A. degree in business management from Brigham Young University, with distinction as the top business school graduate in the area of entrepreneurship. He graduated, with honors, from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at BYU. Mr. Lee is listed in Best Lawyers in America under tax law and trusts and estates, Southwest Super Lawyers in estate planning and probate, and is ranked in Chambers and Partners under private wealth law.
DEBRA L. SCOTT is the sole practitioner with The Scott Practice, LLC, where she represents clients concerning estates and trusts matters, and fiduciary disputes. With more than 19 years of experience handling fiduciary matters, in 2014, Ms. Scott introduced a new nonprofit consulting division to the law firm called SP Consulting. She has a law, public health and accounting background. Ms. Scott earned her bachelor's degree from the University of California, Riverside, her law degree from Syracuse University College of Law, and her master's degree from Emory University.
PAUL F. WRIGHT is a senior partner with The Wright Firm LLP, and the managing partner of the firm’s Dallas office. His practice concerns fiduciary and business litigation, contested and uncontested probate and guardianship matters, as well as estate and business planning. His litigation practice focuses on resolving estate and trust disputes, as well as representing closely-held and middle-market businesses. Mr. Wright’s transaction practice involves counseling individuals, families, widows, business owners, and professionals (primarily physicians) in estate and tax planning, wealth preservation, post-divorce planning, and asset rehabilitation; and advising business owners regarding on-going legal matters that affect businesses. Mr. Wright is a licensed attorney and a certified public accountant and is board certified in estate planning and probate law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is a member of the Dallas Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Texas Society of CPA’s, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and the National College of Probate Judges. Mr. Wright earned his B.S. degree in accounting from the University of North Texas, his M.S. degree in taxation from the University of North Texas, and his J.D. degree from South Texas College of Law.
