Richard Frankel is a partner in the law firm of Bross & Frankel, P.A. A sustaining member of NOVA and a member of NOSSCR, Mr. Frankel has represented countless clients in Social Security hearings before administrative law judges throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware. Mr. Frankel oversees the firm’s appellate practice, authoring many hundreds of appellate briefs and obtaining frequent victories in Social Security appeals from the Appeals Council and against the U.S. Attorney’s office, which represents the Social Security Administration in federal appeals. Mr. Frankel additionally oversees the firm's group long-term disability (ERISA) practice, representing clients in coverage denials, terms disputes and benefit terminations at the administrative level; and litigating adverse decisions in federal court. Mr. Frankel has also represented numerous veterans in matters before the Department of Veterans Affairs. Mr. Frankel is a member of the New Jersey and Pennsylvania bars, and is admitted to practice before the Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the district courts for New Jersey, and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. Mr. Frankel earned his undergraduate degree at the University of the Arts and his J.D. degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law.
