Robert Addison is a shareholder in the Jackson law firm of Daniel Coker Horton & Bell, P.A., where he focuses his practice of law on the defense of arbitration and mediation; general insurance defense; general tort liability; medical, healthcare, and pharmaceutical; personal injury litigation; and products liability. Mr. Addison has lectured frequently on topics relative to litigation practice and has written nationally recognized articles concerning the enforcement of oral settlement agreements. He is an adjunct professor at Belhaven College. Mr. Addison earned his B.M.E. degree, cum laude, from the University of Southern Mississippi and his J.D. degree from the University of Mississippi, where he served as chairman of the Moot Court Board and as a member of the National Mock Trial Team. He is a member of The Mississippi Bar, as well as the Hinds County and American bar associations. Mr. Addison also is a member of the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association, Council on Litigation Management (CLM), Diversity Law Institute, Institute of Trial Presentation, Litigation Counsel of America and Defense Research Institute.
